Karyl Janette Moulton, 73, of Cumberland, RI passed away peacefully on June 6, 2021 after an 18 year long battle with cancer. Born on December 13, 1947 to the late Leroy and Mildred Benzinger (missionaries) of South Lancaster, MA, Karyl spent 5 years in Indonesia with her parents, where she learned to play the piano and sing.
Karyl was blessed with 2 loving sons Matthew and Stacey and from the very beginning she dedicated her children to God. Her devotion to her family and firm belief in God supported her in her struggle and ultimately gave her peace.
Karyl worked as a newspaper ad salesperson, Physical Therapy Assistant and Mental Health Specialist. She enjoyed playing the piano, singing, making homemade cards, camping, attending camp meetings, Colt State Park, her family and most of all her faith in Jesus Christ.
She is survived by her two sons, Matthew H. Moulton and wife Melissa, Stacey J. Moulton and wife Christy; her 5 grandchildren, Austin, Alaina, Ethan, Ashlee, Avery and many more family and friends.
A memorial service will be held on Thursday, June 10th at 5:00pm at the Lincoln Seventh-Day Adventist Church, 1000 Smithfield Ave., Lincoln, RI 02865. Burial is private.
